A big concern for our client was the preservation of the SEO work they’d done in the past, so it was crucial that our new website had to be very well optimized for on-page SEO, ensuring that we adhere to and take advantage of all the latest SEO best practices.
Once the website was complete and ready to launch, we had to carefully plan and execute the launch in way that perfectly preserved all the authority and rankings from the old pages by 301 redirecting every old page to an appropriate page on the new website, among many other strategies and techniques.
The launch was a huge success, and instead of the expected temporary traffic drop, we saw a significant traffic increase over the first few weeks, signalling that the new website was a major improvement on the previous website.
